Sciatica
Sciatica is a term used to indicate a 'trapped nerve' in the back producing pain in the back and leg and at times pins and needles or numbness or weakness of the muscles. This problem can also affect the neck and arms, and is often termed brachialgia.
Sciatica often begins for no apparent reason and can take weeks or months to resolve. Many sufferers do not realise the benefits of appropriate physiotherapy. Even when we cannot fully alleviate your symptoms, we believe that an understanding of the problem and the course it will take can provide the necessary reassurance required to get ‘back on track.’
